Children's Kyu Qualification Tournament

This is an announcement for the NZGS 2022 Children's Kyu Qualification Tournament, feel free to apply if you know someone at or under 16 that would like to get their skills accessed or just want to have some fun playing some go on a weekend!

Eligible Participants
Anyone in NZ aged 16 or below.
Event Rules
- New Zealand rules, 7 komi
- Three divisions
- Division A: 1 - 5 Kyu
- Division B: 5 - 15 Kyu
- Division C: 15+ Kyu
- Every division has 4 rounds
Achieving Rank Up
- Division A (7-8 people):
- 4 Wins: +2 Kyu
- 2-3 Wins: +1 Kyu
- 0-1 Wins: Same rank
- Division B (~10 people):
- 4 Wins: +3 Kyu
- 3 Wins: +2 Kyu
- 2 Wins: +1 Kyu
- 0-1 Wins: Same rank
- Division C (6-8 people):
- 4 Wins: Calibrated at 15-18 Kyu
- 3 Wins:Calibrated at 18-22 Kyu
- 2 Wins:Calibrated at 22-25 Kyu
- 1 Win: Calibrated at 25-28 Kyu
- 0 Wins: Calibrated at 28-30 Kyu
Schedule
- 9.00: Opening Ceremony
- 9.15 - 10.00: 1st Round
- 10.15 - 11.00: 2nd Round
- 11.15 - 12.00: 3rd Round
- 12.00 - 13.00: Lunch
- 13.00 - 13.45: 4th Round
- 14.00: Results
