KPMC Expression of Interest

Dear Go Players,


The previous chosen applicant for the Korean Prime Ministers Cup have unfortunately pulled out and we are looking for a new participant for the KPMC. The details are below and you are welcome to apply as long as you have New Zealand citizenship. Please let me know by the 10th of July!

 

 

1. Dates: August 26(Sat.) ~ September 2(Sat.)  

: One day is added as the total round increases.

 

2. Accommodation

  - Gwangju Metropolitan City: Bentley Tourist Hotel (5, 10 beon-gil, Seoseok-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju) *Same as the previous KPMC in Gwangju

  - Incheon Metropolitan City: To be Announced *Plan to have the same hotel as the previous KPMC in Gwangju

 

3. Specific Changes

  (1) Round and Dates: Increase from 6 to 7 swiss system

: KBF decides to increase the total round from 6 to 7 swiss system so that the competition could be more qualified.

According to the increase, the schedule has one day more.

  (2) Flight support: Increase by deducting the commission

: The support for the airfare will increase by deducting the commission for the participants.

The commission fee would be borne by KBF, which is expected to increase the support by 10% eventually.

  (3) Meal: Dinner would be responsible for participants except few days.

: To reduce the transportation frequency and having the budget to increase the flight support, schedule, and other fields such as souvenirs, the meal would be responsible for you except few days such as banquet days.

KBF would forward the list to guide nearby food stores or restaurants.
