Dear Go Players,

The New Zealand Championships are in Auckland this weekend 29, 30 July.  If you will be playing and have not yet registered, please register now. The details and registration form are at the bottom of this newsletter.

The Auckland Championships will be held on September 30 and October 1.

Longyang Li will be our representative at the KPMC International Amateur Baduk Championship this year. This is being held from 9 to 15 September in South Korea:  Julpo Bay Tidal Ecological Park in Buan County, Jeollabuk-do which is in southern Korea. We will keep you posted with Longyang's results.

The year the WAGC tournament was held Guiyang, China from 2 to 9 June and our man Alan Geurin (from Christchurch) won 3 of 6 games and came 35th. The next two years are Japan and then Vladivostock Russia!

Here are the NZ championship details. Note that the beginners event has had the format changed and has been moved from Sunday to Saturday.
I hope to play you at the tournament!
Regards
