Playing Conditions & Draws
- 1 hour each, 30 seconds byo-yomi. NZ rules apply (7 points komi)
- 5 round Swiss. Draws will be made based on the following rules:
- (1) No same two players shall meet more than once
- (2) Players on the same score will be matched up in the next round where possible
- (3) Players from different cities will be matched up where possible
- Typically there are Dan and Kyu sections unless the number of entries is not sufficient.

Tie-breaking: A tournament winner was determined by SOS in the event of a tie.

Results:
- Long Yang won the tournament with 4 wins, losing to Patrick.
- Second equal was Ming Zhao and Patrick, both also on 4 wins. Ming lost to Long Yang and Patrick lost to Ming.
- 4 people were next, winning 3 games, Ken Xie, Yucong Phease, Edwin Phease and William Nash.
- Barry Phease and Ai won 2 games.
- In last place, Corrin Lakeland and Hordur won 1 game, in both cases a bye.
Kyu section:
Tristan won 4 games, 1 by default. His loss was his second game against Allan. Jonothan and Allan won 2 games.
